"Slightly unconventional, artistic, and lots of fun" — not exactly the description of your average real estate agent. But then, Deborah Glusker is not your average real estate agent. She brings to her work a lifelong passion for art and architecture, a discerning eye, and an easy-going style that leads to enjoyable transactions — and often turns her clients into friends.
- A Westside native, Deborah Glusker lived in Paris 27 years, where she raised her children, worked in fashion and ran her own art gallery. She moved back to Los Angeles in 1997.
- A "people" person, she is warm, caring, enthusiastic, and able to understand her clients' concerns and lead them successfully toward their goals.
- The Glusker name is widely recognized. Deborah's brother has a commercial real estate firm and her father is one of California's leading real estate attorneys.
- Deborah lives in Venice ("I love Venice!") and represents clients and properties there and throughout the Westside.
- Southern California's architecture and architectural properties are a prevailing interest and she has represented clients in the sale and purchase of numerous noteworthy homes.
- Deborah is on the Professional Standard's Committee of the Beverly Hills Board of Realtors
With a passion for travel, the arts, food/wine and music, Deborah is an organizer for both the Venice Art Walk Architectural Tour and the Venice Home & Garden Tour, and is a member of the Venice Community Trust and the Venice Chamber of Commerce. She actively supports the arts, including serving on the Board of Directors of her favorite organization - Grand Performances at downtown's California Plaza (bringing FREE performing arts to all Angelenos!). Deborah is also a supporting member of Royce Center Circle/UCLA Performing Arts, LACMA, MOCA, the Hammer Museum, the Skirball Museum, the Fowler Museum, the Los Angeles Conservancy, the Society of Architectural Historians, Disney Hall, LA Opera, KCRW, KPFK and Link TV!!
